Our initial storyline for our production work is about a girl who comes from a state school. She joins a private school because her previous school asked her to leave, we do not find out the reason for her leaving in our two minute introduction but you would if the whole film was made. Her name is Cally and she does not fit into this Independent Day school for Girls, St Mary's. The first two minutes of our film will show Cally walking into the school, and up the school drive. It will symbolise the differences between her and the precocious girls at the school. It will show the stereotypical differences between state and independent school girls, and will introduce Cally as the main protagonist in our film. We will be using the front of our school as our set, and this would be appropriate because our school is a private school for girls.
At the moment we are thinking of using a year group, such as year 9 or 10, to play all the girls who go to the school, and a few members of our year group as the main girls in our production.
I love your idea, and I think it fits very well into the chick flick convention. You will have to re-name the school, I think, however, as it is a fictional film.
